Do you need to add additional proxy setting in Openpvn config : to send data to AWS instance from a device behind a proxy server?

In normal case, my device sends data to AWS instance through OpenVPN. Now my device will be behind a proxy server. A normal internet browsing accessing the HTTPs need to have the proxy setting.
Do I need to set up “http-proxy” setting in the OpenVPN config file of my device to send data to AWS? or there is no need because it is using an OpenVPN tunnel?
I searched through internet but I guess my searching keywords are not even close to the issue I’m looking for.
